A Champion for the Families of Cumberland and York Counties

Throughout my career as a member of Pennsylvania House of Representatives and in the private sector running my own business, I have witnessed the amazing power, determination, and resiliency of the American people when government is limited and removed as a barrier to economic growth and prosperity.

I am running for State Senate to build on my proven record of accomplishments that include protecting taxpayers, supporting strong government reforms to reduce the power of politicians, clawing back regulation and license expansions to enable small business to grow, and defending the Constitutional rights and freedoms of every citizen.

Growing up in a strong, working-class family, I was taught the importance of faith, family, and the value of hard work. As a parent who worked her way through college, I am committed to providing all children with a quality education, and ensuring they have viable options for all career paths. That is why in the legislature, I have pushed for an education system that allows parents to choose a path that meets the needs of their child needs, including our valuable trades and skills fields. If we have learned anything, it’s that education is not one-size-fits-all, and it’s imperative that students’ academic success is not predicated on their zip code.

As Chair of the Pennsylvania State Freedom Caucus in the House of Representatives, I have been an outspoken advocate for limited government and personal freedom. When Government grows, freedoms shrink, and everyone loses. That’s why I have led the fight to ensure government works for the people, not the other way around.

I have also been a strong voice for the safety of our families and communities. This is why I’ve worked with local police and the York County District Attorney to pass Shawn’s Law, legislation that provides Pennsylvania judges with the necessary tools to sanction predators targeting children to end their lives by suicide. The depravity that is out there never ceases to amaze me, and we need to take every measure possible to protect our children and hold criminals accountable. Shawn’s law provides one more tool to help in this battle.

Like many Americans, I believe our southern border must be secured and that the men and women who serve to keep us and our communities safe must be respected. As the wife of a retired Pennsylvania State Trooper and Marine Veteran, this issue is personal to me. That’s why I have proudly supported and stood with our veterans, police and first responders throughout my career. She has also worked with fellow House Members to support border security and to end Sanctuary status for cities or counties in Pennsylvania.

It is an honor to serve the hard-working men and women of York and Cumberland counties. You can count on me to continue to fight for your priorities as your State Senator.”
